We decided last week to take the kids to the Bluebell Corn Maze for Family Home Evening tonight. They've been so excited and kept asking if today was the day. When Tim got home we loaded into the van and made the 20 minute drive....only to find out that they're not open on Mondays! And they're by reservation only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and since the boys have soccer games tomorrow and Wednesday we can't make it back over until Thursday or Friday anyway. So, we ended up taking the kids out to dinner instead then stopped by the park for a while. It was probably for the best that we didn't get into the corn maize tonight though because the wind was blowing (as usual) and it was SOOO COLD at the park. I had a long sleeved shirt, a sweater, a jacket, and gloves on and I was still FREEZING. It's definitely colder this year than it was last year at this time, which is NOT making me very happy. Vegas is sounding really good right now. Anyway, here are some shots of the kids at the park tonight and hopefully the weather will warm back up for a while and we'll make it back over to the corn maze later this week.
Yes, that monkey up in the top of the tree is my son! I have no idea who the other kid is but he thought it was pretty cool that Tristen could climb like that so he had to show him that he could too.
He even looks a bit primitive with those bare feet and that shaggy hair.
It is colder this year a lot sooner than usual. Vail has already had snow fall (no didn't stay) Denver says they may get some snow tonight. Love the pics. The tree shot is good.
